The security challenges to the chemical and pharmaceutical sector have never been higher. Consistent with the increasing risks to businesses, CIA has developed a leading security policy priority to help sites maximise their resilience against breaches – covering physical site security, personnel security and vetting of staff, and cyber security. We work closely with relevant government departments and security agencies that advise on protective security, and CIA uses this intelligence to alert member companies to the risks and to highlight best practice in protecting businesses.
Our Positions
Our public policy issues that relate to the work of chemicals businesses. We give a description of what each issue is, any legislative agenda, what we as an industry are doing about it and what we want others to do. We aim to examine the ways in which these policies can meet the needs of the UK and help chemical businesses.
