The Chemical Industries Association launches its ground-breaking Health Leadership initiative in the offices of the European Union on Friday 6 December.

In a major presentation to the chemical industry’s sector social dialogue committee of employers, trade unions and European Commission representatives, Dr Roger Pullin, CIA’s Health Policy Advisor, will say “Workplace Health is vital for any organisation in the 21st Century. This of course is particularly true for the chemical sector.

Our ‘Sustainable Health Metrics Indicator Tool’ allows employers, workforces (and their representatives) to do this appropriately. In making sure we get this right we will be working closely with the trade unions and in that respect being in Brussels with trade unions and the Commission is an important launch-pad”.
